There are Companies which want to forget history.
where things happened so horrible that people wanted to wipe them from the land that was not after them, or trace. Leaving only a fragment of the gate. And solitary tree from the courtyard.
Nothing more.
Pawiak .
There is a museum showing the history of this horrid piece of Warsaw. This is a place where thousands of people there was no other way as the place of execution. Or
to Auschwitz.
Most of them were in this place longer. They lived in stone by making chess, dolls from rags, bags of string ... unfinished ....
For me, this place mute. I walk past him every day. On sunny days, empty courtyard exudes calm. I like to stay there.
I feel like I could talk to them. About everything. Even with such foolishnesses like clothes. Or severe as life in spite of everything.
It was all once part of their lives. And I prefer to think of them what kind they were in life.
So I think what was my great-grandfather ...
Dress - SWAP
Shoes - SWAP
Bracelet - SWAP
Necklace - no name
Cardigan - Stradivarius
Coat, Tube - Reserved
Shoes - Heavy Duty
There are places that history would like to forget about.
Places that have seen things so horrible that people wanted to wipe them off the face of the earth without leaving a mark they ever existed. Leaving just a ruins of the front gate. And lonely tree at the yard.
Nothing more.
Pawiak .
There's also a museum with exhibition about this terrifying part of Warsaw's history. From that building tousands of people could go only to execution place.
Or Auschwitz.
Most of them spend months, years in this prison. Making stone chess, dolls from fineries, bags from string...unfinished...
For me this is a place of calm. I pass it every morning. On sunny days empty yard emanate peace. I like to sit there.
I've got a feeling I can talk to Them. About everything. Even so silly about things as clothes. Or serious like living in Spite of all.
It was all once part of Their Lives. And I like to think how they were alive.
The same way I think how my great grandfather was ....
